I use Japanese washi paper as beads.  I combine it with glass and coconut beads, antique coins, river rocks and tassels to create an elegant assortment of jewelry.  I also use origami folding in my jewelry. You can customize Heavenly Cranes jewelry by selecting the style of jewelry you prefer and by choosing the "washi" paper that will be used, from a large selection of designs.
